Last Sunday marked day one of my first ever virtual event with The Fika Hub, and I've been sitting with a deep sense of gratitude ever since. The workshop focused on the idea of polishing the present, which involves slowing down, meeting ourselves where we are, and finding ways to create beauty and intention in our everyday lives.
Putting the workshop together was such a fulfilling process. There was a lot of thought, care, and heart that went into it, but honestly, nothing compared to what it felt like once everyone came together. Sharing the space with so many thoughtful individuals, even virtually, was incredibly grounding and meaningful.
One of my favorite aspects of this workshop was the range of ages and experiences present in the space. A friend who joined the workshop shared with me after how deeply meaningful it was to see that women of all ages could share similar struggles and experiences. How beautiful is it that we get to connect, learn from each other, and find support in this way.
I mainly wanted to come on here to say that I’m so thankful for everyone who showed up and took the time to be part of this event. Your presence, energy, and openness are what made the experience what it was. Moments like this are exactly why The Fika Hub exists. My goal was to create spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and a little removed from the noise of everyday life, and this was only achieved because of the lovely souls who were present.
This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited to keep cultivating spaces where we can connect, reflect, and step away from the chaos together. I can't wait to see what 2026 holds for The Fika Hub. Words can't express how grateful I am!
